1. What is Cottonmouth Coaching?
Cottonmouth Coaching is a specialization of health and wellness coaching. We provide our clients with motivational quotes designed to encourage greater health and wellness. In addition, we offer an optional, free cannabis gift per quote category.
2. How do the quote categories work?
Cottonmouth Coaching only sells motivational quotes. These are essentially inspirational quotes printed onto paper scrolls. Upon choosing a quote category, you have the option to select a cannabis gift associated with that specific category.
Note: You may purchase motivational quotes and turn down the free cannabis gift.
3. Is it legal to purchase cannabis in DC?
Unfortunately, recreational cannabis cannot be purchased in Washington, DC. However, it can be given as a gift in compliance with Initiative 71. Any adult over 21 years of age can legally possess up to an ounce of cannabis. DC’s marijuana laws can be found “here.”
4. If possession is legal, then why are there no recreational dispensaries in DC?
Recreational dispensaries cannot exist because the District of Columbia is not considered to be a state. Although possession is legal, the district cannot enact the regulatory framework needed for the sale and taxation of marijuana.
5. Do I need to show an ID to get the FREE cannabis gift?
Yes; you will be asked to provide a valid, non-expired government issued 21+ ID such as a Driver’s License or a Passport.
Note: Your ID may be from any state, although we only offer our services to those within Washington, D.C.
6. How do I place an order?
First, browse our gift menu and decide which quote category you would like to purchase. Then TEXT or CALL us to arrange a delivery. You will be required to provide a photo of your ID immediately.
Note: Please mention any promotional codes prior to finalizing your order.
7. Is there a delivery fee?
There are no additional delivery fees.
8. How long will my order take to be delivered?
Unless deliveries are scheduled in advance, we take orders in the sequence in which they arrive. You will receive an estimated delivery time once you submit your order. We strive to deliver all orders within 30-60 minutes.
Note: Delivery times may vary based on your location and city traffic.
9. Can I schedule a delivery in advance?
Yes; it is even recommended that you schedule deliveries in advance in order to ensure a convenient and timely delivery.
Scheduling in advance gives you priority over customers who order on demand. Once you send over your ID, simply provide us with a date, time, and location for your delivery.
10. Do you ship?
We are able to ship our merchandise nationwide to all US states. However, we cannot ship any of our cannabis gifts. We only offer our cannabis gifts to adults 21 years of age and older that are located within Washington, DC.
11. Which payment methods are accepted?
At this time, cash is the only payment solution we offer. We cannot take any electronic forms of payment such as Cash App or Venmo. Please have the exact amount as our drivers will not have change or additional gifts on hand.
Note: We accept all forms of electronic payment for our merchandise.
12. Where do we meet?
Our drivers can deliver to any location within Washington, D.C. excluding federal/ local government grounds. However, if you would rather have us arrange a meetup, just let us know where you are coming from and we can provide a public location that is safe and convenient.
13. How do I know which vehicle to look for?
One of our drivers will contact you prior to the meetup so that you know who to look for. All delivery vehicles have Cottonmouth Coaching decals attached to both sides to prevent customers from approaching the wrong vehicle. Your safety is of utmost importance to us.
14. What precautions are you taking against COVID-19?
Our team members are required to wear masks and gloves while preparing orders and our drivers have installed protective partitions within their delivery vehicles to keep contact to a minimum. In addition, vehicles are sanitized with disinfectant spray in-between each delivery as the health and wellbeing of our drivers and customers cannot be compromised.
15. Do you deliver to hotels and restaurants?
As long as the property is not on federal/ local government grounds, our drivers can deliver. We offer curbside delivery to the entire District of Columbia.
Note: Our drivers will not leave their vehicles.
16. How often do you update your gift menu?
Our gift menu is updated on a weekly basis.
